Native Roleplay
Native roleplay requires sensitivity, research, and a focus on authenticity over stereotype. Your character should be grounded in a set tribe or cultural identity — not just labeled “Native.” Research about the tribes customs, language, beliefs, dress, and values, and find ways to bring those into your roleplay as a native character!
Tribes will have the essentials to manage on their own; however, should a tribe seek to gain more advancements, these supplies will always need to be obtained from outside, perhaps from deals with some town folk or even other tribes.
Portray daily life with intention. Hunting rituals, birth traditions, spiritual practices, community gatherings, and how your character treats death or ancestors.
In these times, many native people are living under threat — land loss, forced relocation, broken treaties, or cultural erasure. Consider how this affects your character. Do they hide their beliefs? Do they resist change or try to bridge the gap? Do they trust outsiders, or avoid them?

Conflict, survival, and resistance are valid, but shouldn’t be your only focus. Show kindness, struggle, joy, and growth. Build communities, not just characters.
