Medical Roleplay

Medical roleplay should feel immersive, respectful, and story-driven. Whether you're a doctor, patient, or bystander, aim to keep scenes believable and collaborative.  Injuries should match the event that caused them — falling from a roof or getting shot isn’t something a character should walk away from without consequence.

Don’t rush recovery or treat serious wounds like minor scratches. Instead, lean into the roleplay: have limitations or even a limp. These details make your character more real and human.

Let medical roleplayers do their job and don't rush their work. Don’t force instant treatment or dictate outcomes. Give space, and use emotes (/me, /do) to describe symptoms or reactions.

For doctors, focus on realistic care. You don’t need medical training — just a basic understanding of injuries. Use period-appropriate tools creatively and narrate your actions.

As a medical character, offer follow-up care, suggest rest, and don’t be afraid to say when something is beyond your ability to handle, either by being uncomfortable or just not knowledgeable in the topic.
Demonstrate a willingness to improve, learn, and even help educate and teach other medical personnel, as well as patients, for enhanced medical roleplay.
